First Friday: Summer 2026 Series—August: Iknowyou’vewonderedwherei’vebeen

The Bronx Museum First Friday Summer 2026 Series wraps up in August with a celebration of David Antonio Cruz’s exhibition at Wave Hill, Iknowyou’vewonderedwherei’vebeen; adrift, astare, atilt, asigh, exhale. Presented by Wave Hill x The Bronx Museum, the evening brings together music, art, and community in honor of Cruz’s expansive practice and the themes that move through his work.

David Antonio Cruz’s exhibition explores questions of intimacy, belonging, queer desire, and home. This First Friday gathering creates space for connection and conversation while celebrating one of The Bronx’s most exciting contemporary artists. Guests are invited to experience an evening that reflects the emotional and communal spirit of Cruz’s work.

The event is part of The Bronx Museum’s summer series of themed First Friday parties, offering free cultural programming for all ages.
