Philadelphia (35mm)
July 29 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

One of the most influential LGBTQ+ films ever released by a major Hollywood studio, Philadelphia returns to the big screen in a rare 35mm screening at the Museum of the Moving Image. Directed by Jonathan Demme and starring Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington, the 1993 drama was the first major studio film to directly address the AIDS crisis and anti-gay discrimination in America.
